Fellows

The CES community of scholars includes visiting scholars and fellows from Europe, the United States, and other parts of the globe. They participate in CES activities and engage in the intellectual life of CES through seminars, discussions with faculty, and student engagement. CES provides fellows with the resources of Harvard to help advance their academic and professional goals.

  • In the 2019-20 academic year, CES welcomed 26 Visiting Scholars who will spend from three months to a year in residence at the Center while working on research projects focusing on contemporary European politics, economics, and history.
  • CES recognizes and supports leading political scientists, historians and sociologists from Germany and the EU through its John F. Kennedy Memorial Fellowship.
  • The Center regularly hosts distinguished academics, journalists and public servants as CES Policy Fellows.
  • Non-resident Senior Fellows, who hail from academia, business, government and the policy arena, serve as strategic advisors to CES and help advance its mission to stimulate new thinking and research on Europe.
